This project, which aims to produce 60,000 tons of lightweight materials for new energy vehicles, has been successfully established in Jinhu. It will further strengthen the matrix of the new material supporting industry and inject strong impetus into the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of the county's industrial economy.
This project was introduced by Yintou Town and invested in by a Wuxi-based enterprise. It plans to expand the factory area by 11,000 square meters, build production areas, inspection and testing facilities, and a research and development center; purchase equipment such as metal smelting furnaces, ingot lines, and fully automated robots, and equip with standardized inspection and testing equipment such as spectrometers, tensile machines, and bulk hardness testers. The project focuses on the research and industrial application of lightweight materials for new energy vehicles, mainly engaging in metal material manufacturing, copper and aluminum casting and rolling, and aluminum alloy processing, and supplying products to many well-known enterprises such as China Aluminum Corporation, NIO, LiDI, and SAIC Group. After completion, it is expected to achieve annual invoiced sales of over 300 million yuan and tax revenue of over 20 million yuan.
The project's investor has been deeply involved in the field of aluminum alloy materials and has completed patent layout in directions such as material purification and alloy modification. It plans to apply for 15 patents and possesses mature process technology and stable leading customer resources, with a solid market foundation.
