Alcoa of the United States: Strong Demand for Aluminum Packaging

According to foreign media reports, Alcoa stated that the demand for aluminum packaging is currently strong.
Molly Beerman, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alcoa, said that due to the anti-plastic movements in Europe and North America, the aluminum packaging industry is booming.
She said at the Jefferies Industrial Conference last week that a large amount of slab is being transported to packaging customers on both sides of the Atlantic. The demand for rods is also strong due to the construction of power infrastructure, and the demand in the automotive casting application field remains strong.
