China's Aluminum Industry Chain Output in March Summary

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in March 2026, China's alumina production was 761.1 million tons, an increase of 1.8% year-on-year; the cumulative production for the first three months was 2299.7 million tons, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year.
In March, the output of electrolytic aluminum was 3.851 million tons, up by 2.7% year-on-year; the cumulative output from January to March was 11.413 million tons, up by 3.1% year-on-year.
In March, the output of aluminum alloy was 1.65 million tons, a decrease of 1.5% compared to the previous year; for the first three months, the cumulative output was 4.429 million tons, an increase of 5.4% year-on-year.
In March, the aluminum production was 5.843 million tons, a decrease of 3.1% compared to the previous year; for the first three months, the cumulative production was 15.248 million tons, a decrease of 1.9% compared to the same period last year.
