The average daily output will be 154,000 tons, slightly higher than that in July 2025. As of the end of August 2025, the global (excluding China) built capacity of alumina was 89.15 million tons, the operating capacity was 66.8 million tons, and the operating rate was 74.93%. It is estimated that the global (excluding China) output of alumina will be 4.623 million tons in September 2025.

Baichuan Yingfu predicts that the global (excluding China) electrolytic aluminum output in August 2025 will be 2.408 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.77% and a month-on-month increase of 0.08%. The average daily output will be 77,700 tons, slightly higher than that in July 2025. As of the end of August 2025, the global (excluding China) built electrolytic aluminum production capacity was 35.2 million tons, the operating capacity was 28.466 million tons, and the operating rate was 80.87%. It is estimated that the global (excluding China) output of electrolytic aluminum will reach 2.37 million tons in September 2025.

The output of electrolytic aluminum is approximately 2.37 million tons. Based on the consumption of 1.93 tons of alumina per ton of aluminum, it is estimated that there will be a surplus of about 67,400 tons of metallurgical grade alumina in the global (excluding China) supply in September.
