In July, the global supply of primary aluminium was short by 119,900 tons

The latest report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) shows that in July 2025, global primary aluminum production was 6.127 million tons, consumption was 6.2469 million tons, and there was a supply shortage of 119,900 tons. From January to July 2025, the global output of primary aluminium was 42.3681 million tons, while the consumption was 43.3534 million tons, with a supply shortage of 985,300 tons.
