Indonesia's aluminum exports dropped by 37% month-on-month in September

Data released by the Indonesian Statistics Agency on Monday showed that Indonesia exported 99,766.59 tons of primary aluminum and unprocessed alloy aluminum in September, lower than 157,222 tons in August, with a month-on-month decline of approximately 37%. In the first nine months of 2026, Indonesia's total exports of these two types of aluminum products reached 799,199 tons. In September, these products were mainly exported to Croatia, Thailand, Turkey, and South Korea.
