On the afternoon of February 25th, on the construction site of the 100,000-ton/year high-precision battery aluminum foil and 70,000-ton/year tank cover pull ring material project of Yufeng Aluminum New Materials Group, which is under the umbrella of Yufeng Aluminum New Materials Co., Ltd., good news came - after 142 days of continuous efforts day and night, the first group of 3 aluminum foil rolling machines successfully went into operation! This speed has once again broken the record for the fastest construction and installation of similar projects in the aluminum industry, marking a solid step forward for Yufeng Aluminum New Materials Group towards building the first brand of hot-rolled battery foil in China.
Facing multiple challenges such as tight schedules, heavy tasks, and high technical requirements, the task force adopted a map-based approach to combat the situation, advancing step by step. They worked closely with all participating units, strictly controlling the quality and safety of the construction, and made every effort to accelerate the progress and ensure the completion of key milestones. From the planning and design, equipment procurement, to the hoisting and installation of core components, and the commissioning, every step was carried out in accordance with the standards, ensuring the efficient progress and smooth commissioning of the project.
The successful commissioning of this first set of foil rolling machines is a vivid demonstration of Yufeng Aluminum Group's efforts to transform the aluminum industry towards higher-end, intelligent and green development. It also indicates that the total production capacity of battery foil of Yufeng Aluminum New Materials Group is accelerating towards the 200,000-ton mark. In the future, Yufeng Aluminum Group will continue to strengthen overall planning and support, and assist the aluminum-based new materials group in fully promoting the subsequent equipment installation and commissioning of Yufeng Aluminum Company. By the end of June, the project will achieve full production. At that time, 12 aluminum foil rolling machines and their supporting equipment will be completed, and an annual production capacity of 170,000 tons of high-end aluminum foil will be formed. It is expected that the annual new sales revenue will exceed 5 billion yuan. This breakthrough will inject strong momentum into Yufeng Aluminum Group's achievement of the industrial output value growth target in 2026, effectively support Wuxi in building a 100-billion-yuan aluminum deep processing industrial cluster, and demonstrate the responsibility of state-owned enterprises in promoting the high-quality development of Wuxi's industry.
