On September 15th, the "Integrated Upgrade Project of Waste Aluminum Recycling and Green High-End Aluminum Alloy" of Yuefeng New Materials Company, a subsidiary of Yuefeng Group, was officially completed and put into operation. The total investment of the project is approximately 237 million yuan, with a construction period of 12 months. It has introduced a series of advanced equipment such as tilting gas melting and holding furnaces, hydraulic semi-continuous casting machines, and online processing systems for aluminum melts. The process is mature and reliable, and the product quality is excellent.
It is learned that this project adopts an advanced semi-continuous casting process to alloy the electrolytic aluminum liquid and relies on an online degassing and filtration system to achieve precise purification of the aluminum liquid. It can produce high-end aluminum alloy round ingots covering various grades such as 2 series, 3 series, 5 series, 6 series and 7 series. Its recycled aluminum production line innovatively adopts the process of "pre-treatment of waste aluminum - low-temperature smelting - fine-tuning of composition". Compared with the traditional smelting method, energy consumption is reduced by more than 30% and solid waste emissions are reduced by more than 50%. It is highly consistent with the national "dual carbon" strategic goals and has built a significant green and circular competitive advantage for the enterprise.
