On November 21, Yuefeng Aluminum Group convened a seminar at its headquarters to discuss the company’s science and technology development plan for the “15th Five-Year” period (2026–2030). Chairwoman Liu Lin attended the meeting and delivered remarks, while General Manager Wang Kaifeng presided over the session.
Experts in attendance, drawing on global trends in cutting-edge technologies and China’s major strategic needs—and aligning closely with Yuefeng Aluminum Group’s actual development conditions—conducted an in-depth discussion of the “15th Five-Year” science and technology development plan, offering forward-looking, strategic, and actionable recommendations.
Liu Lin noted that in recent years, Yuefeng Aluminum Group has earnestly studied and implemented the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping. Centered on its dual responsibilities of “ensuring national resource security and supporting high-quality industrial development,” and focusing on its strategic priorities of building “four exceptional strengths,” the company has consistently treated technological innovation as the core driver across its entire industrial chain. Yuefeng has continuously increased R&D investment and systematically established an integrated “Three Major Innovation Development Plans” framework—encompassing science and technology, products, and specialized initiatives—that are coherently aligned and mutually reinforcing. Guided by its “Dual Metals, Dual Materials” strategy, the company has deepened the implementation of its “3+4+4+4” scientific and technological innovation system, led the establishment of multiple national-level innovation platforms, and achieved breakthrough progress in a series of critical core technologies. Supported robustly by innovation, the group has delivered remarkable results in operations, reform, and development, maintaining steady and rapid growth in performance, with many key indicators reaching historic highs.
Liu emphasized that the experts’ suggestions represent a precise diagnosis and strategic empowerment for Yuefeng Aluminum Group’s science and technology agenda during the “15th Five-Year” period, carrying significant guiding value. The company will carefully analyze each recommendation, fully incorporate them into its planning process, and translate them into concrete R&D tasks to ensure the final plan is sharply focused on priorities and centered on critical challenges.
Liu expressed Yuefeng Aluminum Group’s sincere hope that the experts will continue to support the company’s reform and development. She warmly welcomed them to visit Yuefeng’s frontline research facilities and provide more hands-on guidance across the full innovation chain—from fundamental research and technology application to commercialization—helping the company tackle key technological bottlenecks and jointly contribute wisdom and strength toward the high-quality development of China’s non-ferrous metals industry.
