YUEFENG Aluminum Receives Product Carbon Footprint Certification

November 26, 2025

Recently, YUEFENG Aluminum Metal Co., Ltd. successfully obtained a Product Carbon Footprint Certificate issued by China Classification Society Quality Assurance Co., Ltd. (CCSC). This milestone signifies that YUEFENG Aluminum has met international standards in quantifying and managing the carbon emissions across the full life cycle of its products, providing the YUEFENG Group with a solid “green passport” to compete in global markets.

The certification was conducted in accordance with the PAS 2050:2011 standard and China’s national standard GB/T 24067-2024, which together provide a framework for assessing the carbon footprint from raw material extraction through to product delivery. The assessment revealed that the carbon footprint of each tonne of remelt aluminum ingot produced by YUEFENG is 5,861 kg CO₂e (carbon dioxide equivalent)—a level recognized internationally as low-carbon.

Following the certification, YUEFENG’s green-power aluminum production line has attracted visits and partnership inquiries from numerous well-known enterprises, demonstrating strong market appeal.

Amid global efforts to combat climate change and accelerate low-carbon transitions, carbon footprint data has become a critical criterion for market access. YUEFENG’s green-power aluminum now carries an official carbon footprint label, significantly enhancing its “green competitiveness” and effectively meeting the growing demand—both domestically and internationally—for low-carbon supply chains.

Looking ahead, YUEFENG Aluminum plans to further advance its sustainability initiatives through technological innovation, upgrades to environmental protection equipment, and additional green management system certifications. These efforts aim not only to improve product quality but also to contribute more meaningfully to the coordinated advancement of high-quality regional economic development and ecological conservation.
