According to the Kazakh News Agency, on June 1st, Kazakh Prime Minister Volga Zas Bekezov met with Liu Han, the vice chairman of Yuefeng Group. The two sides held a special discussion on the progress of the construction project of the Pavlodar Industrial Zone.
At present, in accordance with the important instructions of the head of state, Kazakhstan is actively promoting an investment policy focused on optimizing the economic structure and supporting the development of the manufacturing sector.

During the meeting, both parties focused on listening to and discussing the progress of the project implementation. Zhao Tingyong stated that the site selection for the industrial park has been successfully completed, the investment agreement has been officially signed, and the company has also hired a professional design agency, which is currently engaged in the planning and design of the park construction.

Yevgeny Beketov stated that the relevant state authorities should provide necessary support and guarantees for this large-scale project with a total investment of 15 billion US dollars. This project will not only become an important growth point for the economic development of the Pavlodar Region, but also is expected to bring a significant driving effect to Kazakhstan's industrialization process.

According to the construction plan of the full industrial chain industrial park, the project will establish a highly integrated production system. Through deep processing of bauxite, it will achieve the entire production chain from raw materials to high-value-added aluminum products. After the project is put into operation, the annual production capacity of alumina is expected to reach 4.8 million tons, and the annual production capacity of electrolytic aluminum will reach 2.4 million tons.

In addition, the annual output of aluminum processing products in the park is expected to reach 1.2 million tons. Once the project is fully completed, it is estimated that approximately 10,000 jobs will be directly created.

It is known that the industrial park construction project is scheduled to commence this year. The first phase of the project is expected to be operational in 2028 and it aims to reach full production capacity by 2029.
